The Donor Motivation Program™ (DMP) Commemorates 15 Years
Orange County Celebrates the One-Year Anniversary of DMP
(Newport Beach, CA – March 2010) The Donor Motivation Program™ (DMP) is a complete system used by over eighty-five charities nationwide for the last 15 years, generating millions in planned gifts from over 10,000 donors who have been through the process. Institute for Family Wealth Counseling (IFWC), an organization that works exclusively with Orange County charities to help their donors with IRS compliant, tax advantaged tools for planned giving introduced The Donor Motivation Program™ in January 2009.
IFWC’s 12-month program is customized to the needs of Orange County nonprofit organizations. The successful seminar system is a proven method for the planning, execution and follow-up of successful donor motivation seminars. According to Giving USA 2006 reports that total bequest giving in 1993 was $8.86 billion. Twelve years later, in 2005, the total more than doubled to $17.44 billion.
